Rosemarie Williams, 50, of Central Lake, died Wed. Dec. 1, 2010 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accient.
She was born Sept. 18, 1960, in Lapeer, Michigan, the daughter of Stephen and Lois "Barb" (Grue) Compton.
Rosemarie was a proud breast cancer survivor who was active with the Susan B. Komen foundation. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her honorary grandchildren and was known as "mom" to many. Rose was a helper, always giving her time to those in need.
On Mar. 28, 2001, in Las Vegas, NV, she married Bryan Williams who survives. Also surviving are her son Vernon J. and daughter Jenee L. both of Central Laker, her stepson Casey D. Williams of Brunswick, GA, brothers Michael S. Compton of Bellaire, and John C. Compton of Washington D.C, sister Shelly A. McDonald of Central Lake, nephews Mike (Emily) Compton Jr., Nick McDonald, Bryce Compton, and niece Layne Compton.
Her favorite quote was: Life is so short enjoy the time we have here.
